If you have any other questions regarding your password or how to change it, please call toll-free 1-800-328-9740.

WHEN TO CANCEL AUTHORIZATIONS
Be aware that once you have reached the "Authorization Confirmation" screen, a live authorization has been created. At this point you must either file a claim using the assigned authorization number or cancel the authorization by calling Provider Services should the service not be rendered.

Providers that do not cancel authorizations for members that do not receive services are, in effect, freezing the member's eligibility. If the member visits another location to obtain service the location will not be able to obtain an authorization because, according to the system, an authorization has already been created.

STEP SAVER
Plan Name Search - Effective May 2002
In addition to searching for a plan via "Plan Number," you are now able to perform a search using the "Plan Name." Please follow these steps to begin:
1.
Select "Name Search" under "Plan Benefits" located in the gray menu on the left of the page.
2.
The Plan Benefits page will open. Simply type the name of the plan in the "Plan Name" field and select submit.

Please Note:
If you are unsure of the entire name, you may search on, for example, "SNO". The system will then return all plan names with "SNO", in this case "Snohomish County" and "Snoqualimie Valley School District - SQ", were found.
The system does not just search on "Plan Name", but also aliases. Therefore, a search on "Morrison" will return "Ruby Tuesday's Inc" as Morrison is set up as an alias for this plan.
To narrow your search and decrease the return time, you will want to enter as much of the plan name as possible.

Aetna Member Search

When performing a search for an Aetna member, if there is a successful match, PCS will take you directly to member details rather than returning to the member's name and requiring you to select the member to see the member detail information.

Additional Pairs Search
To simplify the process of obtaining Additional Pairs information, there is now a hyperlink that you must use, which is located in the upper left corner of the Plan Benefits page. Simply click on the words "Additional Pairs" and the appropriate Additional Pairs plan information will appear.

Note that the page the Additional Pairs plan information appears on will be titled "Exhausted Benefits."
